KMUTT Thung Kru (Bang Mod) Campus

There are 2 Gigabit Ethernet nodes at Bang Mod campus:

1. 1. Classroom Building 2 (CB2) with 3 Gbps UNINET connection


2. 2. Classroom Building 5 (CB5) with 3 Gbps AWN connection

There are L2/L3 switches in other buildings connecting to the nearest node by 2 Gbps fiber optic connection. Each department in the building is connected with 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps UTP connection depending on the hardware of each department.

KMUTT Bang Khun Thian Campus

Bang Khun Thian campus has a similar connection to Bang Mod campus. There are 2 nodes at the Information Technology department building connecting to Bang Mod campus:

1. 1. 1 Gbps UNINET connection connected to Classroom Building 2


2. 2. 400 Mbps AWN connection connected to Classroom Building 5

KMUTT Ratchaburi Campus

Ratchaburi campus has a similar connection to Bang Mod campus. There are 2 nodes at the Operation Building connecting to Bang Mod campus:

1. 1. 1 Gbps UNINET connection connected to Classroom Building 2


2. 2. 400 Mbps AWN connection connected to Classroom Building 5

KMUTT KX Building

KX Building is connected to Bang Mod campus by a 400 Mbps AWN connection to Classroom Building 5

Internet Connectivity

KMUTT is connected to two internet service providers:

1. 1. UniNet which is connected to a node at Classroom Building 2 with the speed of 3 Gbps for domestic connection
2. 2. AWN which is connected to a node at Classroom Building 5 with the speed of 3 Gbps for international connection

Both services have network security installed including Firewall and IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) for protecting against cyber attacks.
